A small town in Washington County, Utah, Santa Clara was founded by Jacob Hamblin in 1854 when he was asked to go to the area as part of a religious mission. Originally called Fort Clara or Fort Santa Clara, this tiny town is home to around 10,000 people.

Most visitors come for the historical sites associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including the Jacob Hamblin Home and the old Relief Society House that was built in 1907.
